Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has synchronised the Alipurdwar (India)-Jigmeling (Bhutan) 400 kV D/C line circuit I.
The line will enable Powergrid evacuation of power from the 720 MW Mangdechu hydroelectric plant in Bhutan to India.
