World Resources Institute, India (WRI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) to work on strategizing for India’s journey towards net-zero emissions.
Moving towards electric mobility requires a planned strategy to merge the transportation and energy sectors. The partnership targets building synergies and support building a ‘Thought Leadership Unit’ at CESL, with WRI providing analytical and evidence-based advocacy to catalyse the energy transition in electric mobility. WRI will support CESL in building adaptative business models to help state governments realize their targets, including decentralizing renewable energy and improving battery storage capacities.
