Vision Mechatronics, a Li-ion batteries manufacturer, has delivered India’s first megawatt-scale hybrid energy storage system in Gurgaon, Haryana.
The 1 MWh hybrid project has a combination of lithium batteries’ together with tubular gel batteries (lead-acid variant) to achieve economic long duration backup. It can give power for up to 18 hours to the grid.
