As per Central Electricity Authority (CEA), ’sNTPC Korba Thermal Power Plant in Chhattisgarhis the top-performing power plant in the country with a 97.61 per cent plant load factor between April and June 2021.
The power plant has an installed capacity of 2,600 MW. NTPC generated 85.8 billion units (BUs) in the first quarter from April to June, registering an increase of 26.3 per cent from 67.9 BUs generated in the corresponding quarter last year.
