CIP signs agreement with Amp India to enable the addition of 1.7 GWp of RE projects

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has signed an agreement with Amp Energy India Private Limited (Amp India) to enable joint equity investments in excess of $ 200 million in renewable energy (RE) projects in India, with potential for future expansion.

CIP has signed theinvestment agreement through its Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets Fund I(CI NMF). The partnership will develop and construct 1.7 GWpof utility and commercialand industrial (C&I)RE projects. The portfolio comprises 900 MWp in solar photovoltaic (PV)and solar-wind hybrid late-stage projects and an additional 800 MWp of projects in earlier stages of development.
