Vietnamese EVN to assign more than 1,000 grid projects to subsidiaries between 2021 and 2025

State-owned Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) intends to assign 1,068 grid projects of 110 kV and 220 kV voltages to its five subsidiaries between 2021 and 2025.

The projects will be allocated and planned based on the power demand in different regions. The five entities include Northern Power Corporation, Central Power Corporation, Southern Power Corporation, Hanoi Power Corporation, and Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation. During the period, 1,129 ongoing grid projects will also be completed. The plan aims to ensure adequate, stable, and safe electricity supply in the country, improve service quality, and meet requirements of the end consumer.
