Construction of 121 MW solar PV park begins in Japan

Japanese based Pacifico Energy has started the construction of 121 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Japan.

The park will be located at Sanda City in Hyogo prefecture. It is expected to generate about 143 million kWh of electricity annually and mitigate 115,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions for 18 years. Juwi Shizen Energy Inc. will be the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the project while financing has beenprovided by MUFG Bank Limited. and Mitsubishi HC Capital Inc. The project’scommercial operations are expected to start in 2023
