Tata Power commissions 150 MW solar power project at Rajasthan

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a 150 MW solar power project in Loharki, Rajasthan.

The project is spread across 756 acres of land and is expected to generate over 350 MUs of power annually. About 656,700 modules were used in the project. It is expected to reduce 0.33 million tonnes of carbon emission annually. With this commissioning, the total renewables installed capacity of Tata Power will reach 2,947 MW with 2,015 MW of solar and 932 MW of wind capacity. It has another 1,084 MW of renewable energy projects under implementation.
