NTPC group stations has registered a growth of 23 per centas compared to the previous year and it has taken actions such as arranging coal at the stations where the stock position is critical under flexible utilization of coal policy, coordinating with Coal India Limited and railways for augmenting coal supply at critical stations and diverting rakes wherever required; augmenting 0.27 million MT of import coal left out from the contracts placed earlier; operationalization of 800 MW Darlipalli Unit2 from September 1, 2021; and increasing coal production from all captive mines of NTPC.
