NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL) has received a letter of award for 325 MW of solar power projects at the Shajapur solar park in Madhya Pradesh.
In the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar’s auction for 450 MW of solar projects at Shajapur solar park in Madhya Pradesh, NTPC REL has won a capacity of 105 MW for Rs 2.35 per unit, as well as a capacity of 220 MW worth Rs 2.33 per unit. NTPC has now achieved a capacity of 4.4 GW through tariff-based competitive bidding. These projects would provide power to state-owned utilities and the Indian Railways.
