NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (REL) has received a letter of award for 325 MW of solar power projects at the Shajapur solar park in Madhya Pradesh. Â
In the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar’s auction for 450 MW of solar projects at Shajapur solar park in Madhya Pradesh, NTPC REL has won a capacity of 105 MW for Rs 2.35 per unit, as well as a capacity of 220 MW worth Rs 2.33 per unit. NTPC has now achieved a capacity of 4.4 GW through tariff-based competitive bidding. These projects would provide power to state-owned utilities and the Indian Railways.
