Tata Power to set up 330 MW solar project in Madhya Pradesh

Tata Power’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TP Saurya Limited, has received a letter of award from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar to set up a 330 MW solar power project in the Neemuch solar park, Madhya Pradesh.

The project has been awarded through tariff-based competitive bidding followed by e-reverse auction. The power produced will be supplied to the Indian Railways and the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company under a power purchase agreement (PPA) valid for a period of 25 years. The project will be commissioned within 19 months from the date of execution of the PPA.
