ReNew Power has commissioned 250 MW capacity of its interstate transmission system solar generation project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The project has a total generation capacity of 300 MW which was won by ReNew Power in tranche-III of the competitive auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India. The project will provide clean energy to Bihar at a rate of Rs 2.55 per unit. The remaining 50 MW capacity is expected to be commissioned by the end of this month. In this project, ReNew Power will install monocrystalline modules with fixed tilt and string inverters to enhance efficiency and will also use robotic module cleaning at the site to conserve water.
