GERC directed the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) to sign the power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidder. GUVNL had filed a petition to adopt a tariff of Rs 2.64 per kWh discovered through a competitive bidding process. GUVNL had issued the tender to auction 100 MW of which SJVN was declared the winner.
