Sembcorp wins 180 MW wind power project from SECI

Sembcorp Industrieshas secured a 180MW wind power project in the 11th nationwide wind power auction held by Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI).

Green Infra Wind Energy Limited, a subsidiary of Sembcorp has received the letter of award from SECI. The project will be located in Karnataka. Its power output will be sold to SECI under a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement (PPA). The total capacity of installed and under construction renewable energy (RE) assets of Sembcorp in India is over 2.3 GW.
