EESL, along with the Institute for Sustainable Communities laÂunÂched a utility-based demand side management (DSM) programme for discoms in Odisha with a total investment of Rs 4.42 billion. The DSM programme aims to accelerate the adoption of energy efficient technologies to reduce energy consuÂmÂption as well as greenhouse gas emissions. This programme is further being planned in Jharkhand and Telangana.
