IndiGrid consortium lowest bidder for Rs 1.70 billion transmission project

A consortium of IndiGrid’s subsidiaries has emerged as the lowest bidder for a power transmission project worth Rs 1.70 billion.

Consortium of IndiGrid 1 Limited and IndiGrid 2 Limited (wholly-owned subsidiaries of India Grid Trust) participated in the tariff-based competitive bidding to establish Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Renewable Projects in Osmanabad area (1 GW) in Maharashtra’ on build, own, operate and maintain basis by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited. The company submitted a bid of Rs 167.4 million during the reverse auction and is awaiting the receipt of letter of intent.
