Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) and Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for collaborations on green energy projects.
Under the MoU, IREDA will undertake the responsibility of looking at techno-financial due diligence of renewable energy (RE), green hydrogen, green ammonia, energy efficiency and conservation projects for BVFCL. IREDA will also assist BVFCL in developing an action plan to create and acquire RE projects for the next five years. The MoU will contribute to achieving India’s target of reducing its carbon emission to 45 per cent by 2030.
