L&T and ReNew Power partner to focus on the green hydrogen business in India

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and ReNew Power have announced a partnership agreement to tap the emerging green hydrogen business in India.  

Under the agreement, L&T and ReNew will jointly develop, own, execute and operate green hydrogen projects in India. Under the proposed National Hydrogen Mission, India has announced specific policy interventions to push for the widespread adoption of green hydrogen. It is expected that green hydrogen demand in India for applications such as refineries, fertilisers and city gas grids will increase to 2 mtpa by 2030. This would call for investments over USD60 billion
