Keppel FELS secures $110 million contract for two offshore wind farm substations

Singapore-based Keppel FELS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, has secured a contract worth $110 million from a renewable energy (RE) company.

The contract is for the construction of two offshore substations. Keppel’s scope of work comprises the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning for the topside modules of two substations. It excludes the foundations, as well as electrical components to be furnished by the client. It is scheduled to be completed in 2024 to be deployed in an offshore wind farm. The contract is in line with Keppel’s Vision 2030 for sustainability.
