France-based TotalEnergies SE has secured a contract from China-based Huali Industrial Group Company Limited to construct a 1.7 MWp rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system in Vietnam.
TotalEnergies will install over 4,000 PV panels as part of the project. Once operational, the system will be capable of generating around 2,000 MWh of renewable energy (RE) annually. Currently, TotalEnergies has a portfolio of over 600 MW of distributed generation (DG) solar projects in development and operation worldwide through its subsidiary TotalEnergies Renewables Distributed Generation.
