The power consumption of India increased by 1.3 per cent from December 1, 2021 to December 10, 2021 to 34.23 BUs, over the same period a year ago.
In 2020, during the same period, power consumption was 33.78 BUs. During the first 10 days of December 2021, the peak power demand met (i.e., the highest supply in a day) was 169.12 GW as compared to 165.42 GW in the same period in 2020.
