ThomasLloyd Energy acquires a minority stake in three solar power plants in the Philippines

ThomasLloyd Energy Impact Trust Public Limited Company has completed the acquisition of a minority stake in three solar power plants in the Philippines with a combined capacity of 80 MW.

ThomasLloyd Energy has acquired a 40 per cent interest in Negros Island Solar Power Incorporated (NISPI), which owns the three assets. The transaction represents the first acquisition of the renewable energy investment trust, which was listed on the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange in December 2021. With this move, the company has spent around 22 per cent of the initial public offering (IPO) proceeds.
