BPCL and SECI sign MoU to set up 10 GW RE capacity

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) to set up 10 GW of renewable energy (RE) capacity by 2040.

The two companies will jointly pursue business opportunities in RE space including solar, wind, electric mobility, hydrogen and waste-to-energy segments.They would begin by setting up a 1 GW of RE portfolio by 2025.
