Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited (JSHL) has won the Energy Conservation Award 2020 at a state-level event organised by the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency. This award is testimony to JSHL’s commitment and innovative efforts towards sustainability and energy conservation in its manufacturing process. Over the past five years, JSHL has reduced its specific energy consumption by more than 11 per cent while reducing overall GHG emissions by 21,362 metric tonnes per annum. Further, JSHL has set an organisational target to reduce its carbon emissions by 10 per cent by 2025.
