The plant will be built in the Batangas Bay Area, close to the load centre of Metro Manila.The project is expected to provide reliable power supply to the grid to cater to the growing energy demand in the country and reduce dependence on coal-fired power generation. Further details about the green hydrogen component of the scheme have not been released.
