SJVN Limited has got a letter of intent (LoI) from Bihar Renewable Energy Development Agency (BREDA) for supply of 200 MW solar power to Bihar at a discovered tariff of Rs 3.11 per kWh.
The project is expected to generate 420.48 MUs in the first year and its cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years would be about 10,512 MUs. The estimated cost of construction and development of the project will be Rs 10 billion. SJVN had bagged the project through an open competitive tariff bidding process during an e-reverse auction in August 2021.
