The plan includes the implementation of two power transmission stations with voltage of 220 kV, one 132 kV stations, and 11 stations of 33 kV, in addition to a number of projects for improving and developing networks and upgrading stations. The plan has been prepared according to a comprehensive study of networks in all regions in Sharjah. Some of the projects to be undertaken during the year include connecting the network to the Madame area; modifying transmission lines for university stations and Industrial Area B, replacing cables for stations at Nasiriyah, Sports Center, Industrial Zones 7A and 7B; installing 33 units of neutral grounding resistors; replacing 11 kV operating switches; installing a 100 MVAr reactor; and rehabilitating the electrical switches of the 132 kV Al-Nasiriya station.
