The Ministry of Power (MoP) has issued a model contract for use of biomass in thermal power plants (TPPs).
The contract includes scope of work, raw material for pellet manufacturing, period of contract, price and its effectiveness, quantity determination, quality determination, computation methodology for various recoveries/quantity adjustments, and billing and payment terms.
