The department of industrial policy and investment promotion of the state, which is looking after the project, has framed the policy. Besides making the scheme attractive for the consumers, the department has also framed the policy to create a conducive ecosystem for the automobile industry in the state. The policy is ready and is in consultation stage with the state government and other stakeholders. Once the final blueprint is prepared, it would be brought before the state cabinet for approval. The scheme is likely to be launched during Auto Expo in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
