The Ministry of Power (MoP) has notified PFCCL to be the bid process coordinator (BPC) for the purpose of selection of bidder as TSP to establish this scheme. PFCCL has thus invited all prospective bidders for issue of request for proposal (RfP) for selection of bidder as the TSP on the basis of international competitive bidding. The responsibility of the TSP would be to ensure that design, construction and testing of all equipment, facilities, components and systems of the project shall be in accordance with the provisions of the transmission service agreement and applicable rules and regulations issued by the central government. The scheme will be developed on build, own, operate and transfer basis.
