A 100 new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be set up across prime locationsin Delhi by June 27, 2022.
Of the total, 71 EV charging stations would be at metro stations. The charge for using the station facility would be Rs 2 per unit, lowest across the country. The stations will be built on a public-private-partnership mode, with land, cabling and transmission infrastructure being provided by the government, and equipment and manpower provided by the company. The charging stations will be operationalised within three months.
