SJVN Limited has incorporated a new subsidiary, SJVN Green Energy Limited, to undertake renewable energy business.
The wholly owned subsidiary company will operate in the field of power generation fromrenewable energy sources such as solar parks, wind and hybrid projects, including battery energy storage systems, asset creation in wave, biomass, small hydropower, and green hydrogen-based business. The new subsidiary has received all mandatory approvals from central agencies like NITI Aayog, Department of Investment and Public Asset Management, Union ministry of finance, and Ministry of Power.The company has been incorporated with an authorised and paid up capital of Rs 500 million.
