Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (Mahagenco), for the first time, made all 27 units of its seven thermal power plants (TPPs) operational on April 27, 2022
In order to meet rising power demand in the state, Mahagenco decided to operate all its units at 70-80 per cent of the installed capacity.It operated seven units in Chandrapur, four in Koradi, three each in Nashik, Bhusawal and Parli, five in Khaparkheda and two in Paras.
