Azure Power has signed an expression of interest (EoI) with the government of Karnataka to develop solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects totaling to 1,700 MW capacity.
The projects will be set up with a total investment of Rs 133 billion. The EoI will strengthenAzure Power’s commitment to develop high performing grid scale renewable energy assets in Karnataka and contribute towards India’s decarbonisation journey. Azure Power owns and operates about 2,900 MW of renewable energy assets across India.
