Envision Energy wins a 2 GW wind turbine project in India

Envision Energy, a Chinese provider of wind turbines and energy management software, has received a 2,000 MW wind turbine order in India.

As per the company’s statement, all 596 wind turbines will be manufactured in Envision’s India factory and will be delivered by the end of 2023. Furthermore, for the projects, the company will provide and commission its EN156/3.3 wind turbines with a rotor diameter of 156 metres. This rotor is said to be powered by a 3.3 MW generator and has a hub height of 140 metres. In addition, Envision’s existing 198 MW Khagashree wind farm and the 35 MW Kagvard wind farm, both equipped with EN-131/2.5MW wind turbines, have been operational since May and October 2019, respectively.
