Ayana Renewable Powerand Greenstat Hydrogen Indiapartner to develop green hydrogen projects in India

Greenstat Hydrogen India Private Limited and Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited have signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for the development of green hydrogen projects powered by renewable energy in India.

Greenstat Hydrogen India is a subsidiary of Norway-based Greenstat ASA, while Ayana Renewable Power is sponsored by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund. Under this partnership, the companies will collaborate to develop large-scale green hydrogen solutions in order to provide a long-term supply of green hydrogen to industrial and commercial users in India. A green hydrogen pilot projectwill be launched in Karnataka. This partnership will help India’s National Hydrogen Mission, which aims to make the country a global hub in green hydrogen production. It will also focus on green hydrogen exports. Ayana is currently developing and managing solar, wind, and hybrid power plants in several states in India, totalling more than 3.59 GWac. Ayana has 1.19 GWac of renewable energy projects operational in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.
