Tata Power SolarSystems Limited has secured a single solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC)order of 1GW for aroundRs 55 billion from SJVN Limited.
The project will be developed under the central public sector undertakingscheme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and will be completed within a period of 24months. The project aims at reducing around 2,287,128kg of carbon emission and is expected to generate around 2,500 MUs annually.With this win of 1GW, the company’s order booking has crossed Rs 120 billion with a cumulative portfolio of more than 9.3GW for utility scale renewables projects.
