Saudi Arabia-based International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) has been named as the preferred bidder for the development of 110 MW of floating solar projects across Indonesia
The projects include a 50 MW Singkarak project located in Sumatra and the 60 MW Saguling project in Java. The company will work with relevant project stakeholders to move to the final award stage. Both projects will be run under power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Indonesia’s state-owned utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN).
