NHPC Limited has awarded engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth Rs 66.04 billion for the development of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) project (1,000 MW capacity) and transmission line for power evacuation to inter-state transmission system (ISTS) sub-station alongwith comprehensive operation and maintenance for 5 years under tranche-Ill of CPSU Scheme Phase-II.
Adani Infra (India) Limited got an order for 600 MW with a total contract price of Rs 42.96 billion in Gujarat. Tata Power Solar Systems Limited got an order for 300 MW with a total contract price of Rs 17.32 billion in Rajasthan. SSEL-ASR JV got an order for 100 MW with a total contract price of Rs 5.77 billion in Andhra Pradesh. The completion period is 18 months.
