GreenZo Energy Private Limited, a Delhi-based renewable energy consultancy, plans to set up a 250 MW green hydrogen electrolyser factory with an investment of Rs 3-4 billion by 2025.
The company has also announced an investment of over Rs 70 million on the research and development for the 250 MW proton exchange membrane technology production of the green hydrogen electrolyser in 2022-23. This would ensure the availability of end-to-end solutions within the country and cut down dependence on imports for this key equipment.
