NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has issued a request for proposal for the balance of system (BoS) package (excluding land and transmission system) for a 500 MW state transmission utility (STU)-connected solar project in Bhadla, Rajasthan.
As per the tender guidelines, the bidders must provide bid security amount of Rs 100 million. The bidder should have designed, supplied, and commissioned BoS for grid-connected solar projects of 40 MW or more as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor or developer. At least one plant with a capacity of 10 MW or greater must have been in operation for at least six months prior to the bid opening date. The average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than Rs 2.7 billion for any three financial years out of the preceding five financial years as of the bid opening date. From the date of commissioning, the bidder will be responsible for the project’s operation and maintenance for three years. The bid submission deadline is July 14, 2022.
