SJVN Limited has started the river diversion work of the 210 MW Luhri Stage-1 hydroelectric project located on river Satluj in Himachal Pradesh.
In November 2020, the government approved an investment of Rs 18.11 billion for the project. The project will generate 758.20 MUs of electricity annually. The company triggered the last blast and inaugurated the river diversion of the project. With this, Luhri-1 project has entered the advanced stage of construction.
