Mitsubishi Electric to establish new factory in India for factory automation control system products

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation will invest around Rs 2.2 billion in its subsidiary, Mitsubishi Electric India Private Limited, to establish a new factory in India. It will be built near Pune, Maharashtra, and is expected to start operations in December 2023. It will manufacture inverters and other factory automation control system products, expanding the company’s capabilities to meet the growing demand in India. The factory will aim to achieve carbon neutrality by reducing carbon dioxide emissions through the use of highly efficient air-conditioning systems and LED lighting equipment, as well as meet sustainable development goals by reusing wastewater through underground filtration treatment and greening.
