JAKEDA invites bids for 200 MW rooftop solar systems

The Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) has called for bids to build and commission 200 MW of grid-connected residential rooftop solar systems under Jammu Solar City Mission.

The systems will be of varying capacities as part of Phase II under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Rooftop Solar Program. Solar modules and cells utilised for the project should be manufactured in India with a minimum power output of 250 W and an efficiency of at least 16 percent. The bidders must offer a price for the solar systems based on the MNRE benchmark cost. They must have prior expertise with the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar installations through public sector undertakings or MNRE sponsored programmes. The bid submission deadline is July 29, 2022.
