The Ministry of Power (MoP) has appointed the Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) as the central nodal agency to set up and operate a single window green energy open access system for renewable energy.
The notification is in line with the Electricity (Promoting Renewable Energy through Green Energy Open Access) Rules, 2022. As per these rules, the nodal agency is expected to allow all applications for open access of green energy within a period of 15 days.
