Tata Power-DDL to purchase 300 MW renewable power under short-term contract

Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) has requested bids for the purchase of upto 300 MW round-the-clock non-solar renewable power under a short-term contract.

The periods of the contract will be from August 16, 2022 to October 31, 2022, and April 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023 to meet its renewable purchase obligation requirements. The bid submission deadline is August 2, 2022. The selected bidders will be required to apply for short-term open access on behalf of Tata Power-DDL such that separate short-term open access charges up to the delivery point would not be invoiced to or payable by the bidder. The power supply may be provided by one or more sources, with the provision that no single source’s supply is less than 1 MW.
