Philippine BOI clears PHP2 billion solar project in Luzon

The Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) has approved development plans for a PHP2 billion Naga Solar Power Plant Projectin Luzon.

BOI has approved the application for registration ofPAVI Green Renewable Energy Incorporated as a renewable energy developer for the project. The facility is scheduled to commence commercial operations in February 2024. The project will include the deployment of mono-crystalline solar panels and string inverters. The project is part of the government of Philippines’ plan of having about 81.5 GW of renewable power plants in operation by 2040.
