NovaWind and An Xuan Energy to build 128 MW wind farm in Vietnam

NovaWind, the wind power subsidiary of Russia-based Rosatom, has entered into a cooperation agreement with An Xuan Energy for the construction of a 128 MW wind farm in Vietnam.

The wind facility will be located in Son La province, north-western Vietnam. The project is expected to be key in harnessing the country’s wind generation capacity as well as achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. An Xuan Energy currently has about 140 MW solar and 430 MW wind energy projects under various stages of development in Vietnam.
