SJVN Limited has entered into an agreement with KEC International Limited for construction of 220 kV D/C single zebra, transmission line from 66 MW Dhaulasidh hydroelectric plant (HEP) in Hamirpur switchyard to 220 kV Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (HPPTCL) network in Sujanpur.
The works amounting to Rs 474 million include end to end delivery of the commissioned transmission line by February, 2024. The transmission line will enable SJVN to transmit power generated from 66 MW Dhaulasidh HEP into HPPTCL network. Dhaulasidh HEP is designed to generate 304 million units energy per annum.
