Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB) has invited international bids for the construction of a 230/132/33 kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation at Anwara; a 230/33 kV GIS substation at Bangabandhu Hi-Tech City (Kaliakoir); 132/33 kV GIS substation at Cox’s bazar and Teknaf; and a 230 kV GIS bay extension at the existing Kaliakoir substation (Package-1).
The tender is part of the Southern Chattogram and Kaliakoir Transmission Infrastructure Development Project, which is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The bids are due on September 22, 2022.
